I have a question about step 1 score reporting for IMGs. I'm planning to take step 1 by mid-jan and step 2 cs by mid-march. By my calculation, the step 1 result would be available in the first week of feb.
Now, I need the step 1 transcript to get a visa for CS. Does ECFMG automatically provide us with a transcript to show to the visa officers or do we need to use the $50 request transcript option? And if we have to choose the $50 option, does it mean it would be sent by post?
This is important because if it is indeed the latter, then I cannot schedule my exam mid-march since the transcript itself would take a month to arrive!
