what's 17 bucks though? in the long scheme of things and how much we've doled out for med school.
It doesn't matter if you're only going to use it for practicals. If you were a PhD student in anatomy, you might need the latest edition since they do rarely change a name here and there. Medical students don't. If you think Rohen's will be used extensively in your course, however, pop for the $17. It's a pain in the backside when one of your classmates says "just look at page 123 in Rohen's" and you're going nuts trying to find the same page in your older edition.There is a 2002 and a 2006 edition with the latter costing $17 more.

BTW, never study Rohen's in a coffee shop or other public place where normal people will be. The normals get terribly upset if they glance over your shoulder!!!

Some random 10-year old girl snatches Rohen from the table! (It was off to the side.) I quickly took it back from her, explaining that it might be disturbing. Fortunately, she didn't get far enough to be traumatized- or to get me sued for indecency!
