Does the pattern folding on the DAT have lots of shading

I am really struggling on pattern folding. I am doing OK on the other sections but I keep getting killed in pattern folding(30-40% correct). I can get the ones where there are few shadings but the ones with lots of them just confuse me.

My DAT had almost no shading problems in the folding. Just complex shapes.

My dat had about 6-7 shading and a few dice.
