Does this mean I have to write a 3500 and 2400 character essay in one paragraph?

You probably know which school I'm talking about. The instructions for the 3500-character and 2400-character essays read:

"The version viewed by the Committee will be reformatted to a standard font and size for review. Paragraphs and extra linebreaks will not be retained by the system."

Does that mean I should put //s to separate paragraphs? Or try to answer the question in a single paragraph?

Any other ideas? 😕😕😕

Is it actually reasonable for any school to expect a 3500 character paragraph or is it just expected that the ADCOM will receive a jumbled mess of strangely-organized words to sort out for itself? What am I missing here?

Thoughts are appreciated.

Is this pritzker?

i didn't know we can't hit return!!! that just ruins everything...i haven't actually copy/pasted yet so we'll see how formatting works. if anyone has any insight please do share!

Is this pritzker?

I wrote, edited and re-edited their essays until I was satisfied -- and then noticed this tiny little glitch.

Yes, it's Pritzker.

I might just write some kind of // break in-between so that they understand that there should be a paragraph break.

Do you actually think the school is looking for a 3500-character paragraph? I mean that's just not realistic is it?

Look at the pritzker secondary thread, I think it answers this question.
