Hi, I'm senior and graduating in May.
Ive just decided that I want to go to Dental school past July so I really did not have time to plan out my pre-req classes because it is more important for me to graduate first then take pre-req classes.

So, I haven't took organic. I know, its crazy. But my school offers baby organic and I did so good in baby organic. So I, at least know what is going on in Organic part when I actually study.

Im planning to go to Auburn in the summer, but they only offer Org 1 in the summer. Which means I take Org1 in the summer and Org2 in the fall.

Therefore, Im planning to take DAT on August 1st, the day after I get done with Organic 1.

What do you guys think about this idea? and do you think Dental school would question why I didn't take organic before taking DAT?

did u do good in baby organics 🙂?

No. They don't really care, as long as you do eventually take it. If you roll in with a 16 OC score or something silly, then it's pretty obvious you should have waited to take it after OCII. You'll get people here cautioning against it, while others did fine with only OC I and some with no OC besides their own studying. It really depends on what you think about your own abilities and study habits. I wouldn't necessarily roll into the DAT the day after you finish OC though. OC isn't an easy subject, you'll be juggling that plus studying your other sections plus learning OCII at the same time. If you attempt this, I'd delay your date just a bit.

Okay. I have registered but haven't picked a day yet.
I will probably take it in Mid August then.
I see lots of people saying taking it early and turning everything early.
Im scared but if its going to happen, it will happen no matter what. Thanks!

I would also look into some English classes...
