Doesn't DIBAL reduce carboxylic acids to aldehydes?

In chad's quizzes it says DIBAL only reduces esters to aldehydes.

I thought it can reduce carboxylic acids to aldehydes as well?

While we are on this topic, does DIBAL reduce anything else? Also I don't remember that well from my ochem class, but isn't there certain conditions DIBAL with react differently (i.e. cold vs. warm)?

It can work on the same groups as LiAlH4 but reduces them only to aldehydes (including esters) and amines to imines.
