Doing well in a postbacc

So I just got accepted into Temple's BCHS post-bacc program which starts in about 2 weeks (May 10th), I wanted to know if any other members had tips or tricks for doing well in a post-bacc program. It doesn't have to be specific to Temple, but just in general, especially with courses like Organic Chemistry, Anatomy and Physio,. and the "hard" sciences.

Any advice is appreciated.

So I didnt do a post bacc but I did extend my under grad from 4 to 6 years to save cash. I will say that my near 4.0 during my final two years took alot of dedication. I cut back on working and literally utilized my time wisely. Classes come first, then you can do other things. Good luck.

I think the #1 thing is to just give it the seriousness it deserves. It's silly but lots of careers are derailed without it. From now until the end, it is your job. Put in the time and effort and do the things that would make you succeed in a traditional job.

I think the #1 thing is to just give it the seriousness it deserves. It's silly but lots of careers are derailed without it. From now until the end, it is your job. Put in the time and effort and do the things that would make you succeed in a traditional job.

I agree a thousand percent with my wise colleague. I've seen a fair number of students in my own special master's program crater their grades because they still believe that they're in undergraduate school.

For Organic Chem and Physics do a lot of problems. For Organic Chem, there is a very helpful book called "OChem as a second Language." There is a separate book for both Ochem 1 and Ochem 2.

For all the science and math courses, you can go to "KhanAcademy.com" for videos on the courses. Or just go to YouTube and type in Khan Academy and the subject you are studying. There are also other videos on YouTube regarding different subjects.
