Congratulations! Some mighty fine scores indeed!!! These DAT scores will surely offset a lower GPA! Thanks for the breakdown and shout out!Hello fellow pre dents! I am a long lurker on the SDN and I wanted to post my experience regarding the DAT. I have to thank Ari from the Bootcamp and everyone on SDN, because I honestly knew nothing about the DAT and where to begin. I suggest you to read the tips and the information on the DAT Bootcamp website if you were lost like me. I highly recommend going over the Destroyer multiple times, memorizing the formula and lab sheets provided on the Bootcamp, and getting both the Bootcamp and the Genius. They worked synergetically for the science sections.
I originally planned to take the DAT end of July, I still felt iffy about whether I was prepared. My GPA is quite low, and I knew I would be a late applicant, so I wanted to do as well as I can on the DAT. So I decided to move the DAT and took it today, and it was a very good decision that I have made.
Practice scores
Bootcamp (one month after studying)
PAT: 17,18,18,17,19// QR: 17,18,19,18,20 // RC: 15,17 (didn't do the rest) // Bio: 17, 17, 16, 19, 19 // GC: 17, 20, 23, 18, 19 // OC: 20, 19, 18, 24, 20
Genius (2 months after studying)
PAT: 19, 20, 21, 20, 20// QR 19, 19, 20, 21, 20 // RC: 20, 23, 20, 21, 21 // Bio: 17, 19, 19, 20, 18 // GC: 22, 21, 21, 20, 22 // OC: 20, 21, 20, 21, 21
2007 & 2009 (3 months after studying, One week before DAT)
(2007) PAT: 23// QR: 26// RC: 22// Bio: 19// GC: 29 // OC: 30
(2009) PAT: 22// QR: 19// RC: 17// Bio: 19// GC: 23 // OC 19
Final Scores
PAT: 20 //QR: 20 //RC: 22 /Biology: 26 //GC: 21 //OC: 27 // .... TS: 24 //AA: 23
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PAT: The keyhole was insane, and even the angle ranking was as hard as the Bootcamp angle ranking. I made lots of guesses. I felt lucky to score a 20 on this section.
QR: Overall straightforward. Simple to solve questions were thrown out like candies. Very similar to the Math Destroyer material however there were some harder questions mixed in as well. I moved on if I did not immediately know how solve, but I almost ran out of time and didn't really have time to check the answers.
RC: The passages were pleasant to read. Most of the questions could be answered by search and destroy. Very similar to the Genius RC.
Bio: It was heavy with cell bio and genetics. However the questions came from every branch of biology including micro, ecology, anatomy, embryology, etc. I am a bio major so I felt pretty comfortable studying for it.
GC: Simple calculations and set-ups, lab questions, and it was overall heavy with conceptual questions. Exactly on par with the Bootcamp and Genius difficulty. I honestly thought I did better on GC than any other sections.
OC: Equal mix of conceptual and synthesis problems. A few lab questions as well. If you know the roadmap reactions and the reagents, you should be set.
Thanks for reading and I'll gladly answer any questions if you have.
Take care..Nancy
Thank you. Couldn't have done this without the DAT Destroyer.

How many ppl have that 23 AA/24TS xD! Awesome job man!! I'd hate to say it but... maybe I'd trade some QR points for a higher TS (not that I'm not furious at math anyways) 😡. What GPA is low for you? I have ~3.4 and I think it's god awful but we all have different opinions.
Wicked. Love seeing your scores track upwards, culminating in your best scores on the actual DAT. Big congrats!
I am very happy to announce that I am accepted to NYUCD class of 2021. I owe big thanks to DAT Bootcamp, DAT Genius, DAT Destroyer, and Cliff AP Biology for helping me achieve competitive DAT score that can make up for my gpa.
Great work! Why'd you delete the breakdown?
