Done with DAT!!!!
First of all, let me thank my fellow SDNers to help me here with DAT(Amsie, Ex_EE ). Specially, I would like to thank Dr. Romano and Nancy for their support and encouragement. I could not have done this without you guys .
And yes as many said already buy f****** Destroyer and follow Dr. Romanos advice blindly. Trust me he is the key to score 20s in DAT.
Also, I will be making two of my friends to buy the Destroyer who were skeptical about spending only 150 bucks on Destroyer and waiting for my scores As Amsie said, I am not Romanoobot, but I do not want my fellows to miss this by spending only 150 bucks for this important exam. I, with others, cannot emphasize enough on buying Destroyer for your DAT preparation since it worked for all of us.
Here is my advise to my fellow SDNers to score in 20s:
Study Kaplan material to build of a strong basic foundation of sciences (usually takes about 2 weeks if u read 4-5 hours a day)
Combine it with Destroyer (again I cant stress enough), achiever and Topscore. ( two weeks are enough)
My DAT experience:
BIO: Kaplan + Destryer + Achiever. You should be in good shape. I got 21 (94%) yoohooo!!! Thanks to Dr. Romano
GCHE: Kaplan + Destryer + basic chem. Text books. I got 21(92%) hurreee!!!- Again it goes to Dr. Romano!!!
OCHEM: Tricky business. Kaplan + Destroyer + you understanding of OC1,2 and preferably 3. I had all three of these and though failed horrible in real DAT and got 16!!
PAT: Again tricky business. Hardest questions I have ever seen. Harder than Achiever, specially angle ranking, pattern folding and Top-Front-End view problems. Specially my computer screen was fluctuating all the time so it made it even harder to focus after a while.
RC: You guys all know enough English with scientific background to crack this section. So lets not talk about it.
MATH: I am an Asian so I gotta be good at Math. Even though I was exhausted and nervous to see my scores at the end of the section during last 10 questions, I managed to score 20 (91%). Know trig, probability and word problems (more than half of my questions were on these three topics) and of course basic algebra and geometry. You can rock this section.
