So I took mine on Wednesday and here's how I did:

PAT: 21
QR: 19
RC: 21
Bio: 21
GC: 23
OC: 28
TS: 23
AA: 22

So I'm really happy with my scores, I was a nervous wreck with a minute left in the QR section knowing that I was gonna see my scores soon. And then I saw them and I thought there was an error, of all the practice tests I had taken all summer, I had never got scores this high.

First off, I wanna say thank you to all of you on SDN, because of this forum I found out about DAT Destroyer, Achiever, Topscore, etc. I took the Kaplan class (which was a waste of time) and went through the entire Review Notes book, which was good as a foundation, but clearly wasn't enough. With about 2-3 weeks left, I bought Destroyer and went through that at least twice for each section, which was especially good for Bio.

Then with about a week and a half left, I started doing all the Achiever and Topscore tests. Achiever was really good in preparing me for the PAT (since Kaplan PAT is too easy). And the tests got me used to concentratiing for 4 and half hours. So for all you people doing Kaplan, I want to emphasize that buying Achiever and Destroyer are really helpful to top off your studying. By the time your done with them, you'll be sick of studying (3 months for me) and thats when you know you're ready to take the test.

Finally I want to ask all of you what you think of my chances of getting into UCSF or UoP. I go to UCDavis and I really want to go to school in San Fran, my gpa is 3.5.
Thanks.

hey congrats with ur scores, very pretty solid! i think u have a good chance, do u mind posting the average scores on your practice tests? thanks

CONGRATS!! Those are excellent score, you will most certainly have your pick of schools to choose from!

"very pretty solid" 😛 haha j/k. Congrats Big E, very impressive numbers. are you applying this cycle? seems like everyone is pulling 20+ DAT scores nowadays. gl!

^^ I totally agree. I took the test yesterday and PAT was def. easier than Achiever. Great scores! So relieved....

So for Achiever, my scores were pretty low, but i wasn't too concerned, they're pretty hard...

PAT/RC/QR/Bio/GC/OC

Achiever Test 1: 18/22/18/17/20/18
Achiever Test 2: 18/19/18/17/15/16
Achiever Test 3: 19/18/22/16/19/18

So after each test I made sure to go over PAT and Science sections. Making sure you can do the GC and OC sections of these is good, if u can do these problems and Destroyers ur set for the test.

Then after Achiever I did topscore, I made sure to do all the Science sections, I was pretty confident with RC and QR so I didnt all of them.

Topscore 1 : PAT-23, Bio-19, GC-20, OC-20
Topscore 2 : PAT-22, Bio-21, GC-18, OC-19
Topscore 3: PAT-23, RC-21, QR-21, Bio-20, GC-18, OC-20

So there they are. And to answer the other question, I'm waiting a year, so I'll be applying next June, and because of rolling admissions I'm hoping it'll give me an advantage.

congratz.
