For the first time, I really fell in love with a school. This school is the one that if I don't get accepted to will (maybe) make me cry. And I am not a crier. The interview day blew me away and I can picture myself there. Now, I'm just waiting to hear back. Seriously, I feel like one of those donkeys with a carrot dangling on a string in front of its nose. I bet that carrot is tasty.

Random topic, I know. But seriously. Loved the school. A lot. For those of you who got the carrot (enough of a metaphor already, I know, I know) was it just completely awesome getting into the school of your dreams?

Nope - my 4th. I really liked one other school - the other two I was so-so about - but this one really did it for me.

Not naming the school because I don't want to jinx (aka embarrass) myself.

Oh. Well I fell I love with the first MD interview then went on 6 more and realized alot of schools are nearly identical.

I didn't have a dream school going in, but I did have some that I considered high on my list. Of those, I've interviewed at two so far. Got into both. How's that for a tough decision? And I still have one more I'm going to attend.

I got into my #1 school back in September. It was my 1st secondary, my 1st II, and my 1st (and so far only) acceptance. So yeah, it rocks.

It's sort of a faux pas to change your status to Medical Student when you haven't matriculated yet.

I know how you feel OP. Sometimes it just clicks, the schools personality fits yours.

Sometimes, especially when rejected, this whole process does make me feel a little like a jack ass. 🙂 no hate for donkeys, though. Just the process.

Sorry it didn't work out. I know how it feels. At least you're going to be somewhere next year! Congratulations for that.

There's a ton of people that would love to be in your position right now. I would. I have one interview invite so far, at the first DO school I was complete, and I am very seriously considering withdrawing from all others if I get in.

I know. I can't say how excited I am that there is a school out there that has decided to accept me. I really, truly am happy and thankful for that!
