Don't have a Non-sci LOR

Hi there,

I applied to a few DO schools that require 2 science & 1 non-science LOR; however, it's been 3 years since I've taken a non-science class (a psych class) and I don't even remember the professor's name, so I doubt they would remember me. Prior to that, the last non-science class I took was about 5-6 years ago during my undergrad degree.

I have 3 science LORs (chem, environmental sci, physiology professors). Any recommendations on how to approach the office of admissions and see if I can submit these in lieu of the 2 sci, 1 non-sci?

Has anyone had a similar issue, and if so what was your approach?

Try to contact ur non-science professor from undergraduate. If you contact the admissions, tell them you are nontraditional and ask if you can substitute the non-science letter with an employer or supervisor letter?

yeah but how about at schools like NYIT, PCOM, PCOM-GA, and NOVA?

I got an interview at NYIT. I didn't apply to PCOM or NOVA
