Don't have the letter of recs needed. Should I submit my Secondary for BU?

Title says most - I have 4 letter of recs - one Science prof, one Jazz prof, one research postdoc and one doctor from a clinic I work in.

Boston University requires 3 - 2 science profs, and 1 of my choice.



I am lacking in one science professor to apply to BU, should I just apply anyways and shoot my shot? Or should i forfeit the secondary, and save some money? Thanks.

BU is very strict about its letter requirements. I got put on a pre-review hold initial because some of my letter writers didn't have a hand written signature on the letters they sent or letters didn't contain a letterhead. I had to get the writers to resubmit new ones before they took me off of it. you can risk it but i wouldn't

They may have accepted the Research post-doc as a science letter
