I am seriously confused as to what I should do in regards to transferring to a University. Currently in CC with a 3.5 GPA (37 credits), all are general education courses so far(1st year), I haven't taken any science courses as of yet. Had a rough start back in High school when I was duel enrolled in a couple classes, it didn't go so well as you can see my GPA reflects that. Just finished my first year in CC and I am hoping to transfer to a University sooner so that I can start on my pre-requisites.

I can't take any other classes except the prereq's at this point and I have no choice but to take em at community college as my second year;(
I have two choices:
1) Complete half of prereq's at CC and get my AA, (this will allow me to transfer to a decent college)
2)Apply for spring semester with 37 creds and 3.5 GPA, but will have to raise my ACT/SAT scores since they are downright ugly lol, didn't take it seriously in High School. (will apply as freshmen because I have less than 60 creds, so they still require my HS transcript and ACT/SAT scores)

I am scared that taking pre-req's at CC will diminish my chances at being accepted to decent Med schools, so don't know what to do🙁 any suggestions?

You will do fine! Transfer when you feel you're ready, you likely don't need your AA. You may be better served taking some science classes in your second year at CC as an individual studies major keeping in mind the bachelors degree that you want to end up with, picking classes that will transfer to a particular school/schools you are interested in transferring to.

I know the feeling of dual enrollment biting you, I had a 5 credit class that went on my transcript as a D, so I started college with a 1.0 GPA. With a 3.5 you aren't in a bad place and another year of classes will bring you even higher if you can get the grades.
