Just curious of how many DOs do you think are involved with sports teams? College or Pro? Not as orthopods, but are there for OMM and general sports medicine?

The majority of the Virginia Tech sports med team are DO's.

I've heard that all of team physicians for the Miami Dolphins are DO's.

Philadelphia 76er's and The Pennsylvania Ballet I know off the top of my head. There are quite a few out there.

The Team Physician for the Spurs in San Antonio is a DO (TCOM graduate)

The head of sports medicine at MSU is an osteopathic doc and coordinates for all sports teams and more specifically, works closely with the men's basketball team and is on the board at MSUCOM

Ballet Arizona and Coyotes Hockey use 'em and (my favorite part) the primary care team physician for the Phoenix Suns is a D.O.
