Hey guys, i'm a starting fourth year medical student getting ready for the match process. Knowing how extremely competitive the plastics match is, are most program directors aware of the fact that many people might be double applying? More importantly, are they sympathetic to the fact that MOST people are not going to match and that they are pursuing other specialties as well? I'm a strong applicant for ENT but not as much for plastics-which is really my top choice. I'll give it a shot at both however and I'll be doing 1 away rotation in both ENT and plastics. Do you think this is career suicide: double applying?
