Hello everyone,

I am currently a junior attending a UC here in Cali as a bio major and transfered from another UC. I suppose that the new school is more competitive and I haven't been doing so well since I transferred. At my old school, I got almost all A's and a few B's but since I transferred, I've gotten 3B's, 1C and maybe one A (still waiting for grades to come out). I'm not even taking THAT many units. The classes that I'm taking are a little tougher-upper division sciences whereas at the previous UC, I took mostly lower div classes. The C that I got was in an upperdiv animalbehavior+ecology class. I am planning to apply this june for the 2012 application cycle. I think by june, my cgpa and sgpa will still be okay...but I'm freaking out since it seems like my gpa is dropping by the minute ): Will this affect my admission?

I dont think it will hurt you really.... if you dropped to a C, D student then i would worry. But at the new school your at, you are taking upper level science which are obviously more difficult than lower level science.. Getting B's in these courses wouldnt hurt you, but getting hella C's would. Downward trend: YES.. But this is quite common among undergrads.
