OK, my med school is going to start us off in orientation doing these exams...they're supposed to measure where we are with diagnosing certain things. Fever, RLQ pain, increase pain on rebound...apendicitis?
They acronyms stand for: Diagnostic Patern Recognitions, and Interpretation of Clinical Data.

I really I don't know what these exams are. If anyone else has had prior experience with them please let me know.

Seems very odd that they're giving us these during orientation!

Ooh scary 🙂 I don't know anything about it, but good luck. I know my first week I want to tuck my head down and not look like too much of an idiot 😉

I wouldn't waste a second of your time preparing for this. You will learn it in med school. You won't get in trouble for not knowing it before you begin.

They're probably trying to establish a baseline for further testing or something stupid like that.

   This will be probably be me when school starts in about 2 weeks 😀 😀 😀

Sounds like somebody's doing some research. Tell the person who administers the test that you expect at LEAST a middle authorship if it ever gets published 🙂
