I've seen some programs advertise that you received your MS in Physiology en route to receiving your DPT. Is this normal? Do most programs meet that requirement while you're getting your DPT? I think I saw this at Azusa Pacific Uni in California, but haven't seen it advertised elsewhere... google search didn't get me any info.

Thanks all,

The requirements for a degree are usually specific to each institution. There is no universal MS in physiology. If your institution does not offer it, it is impossible to get one en route to your DPT. The only other program I know of that offers a master's during DPT is Delaware. If you take an extra class you can get a MS in anatomy. Which they advertise as a way to become an anatomy instructor.

Well I haven't seen this at any programs I've looked at so no I don't think it's common.
