Hey,

So this may seem like a dumb question, but I am supposed to visit UMDNJ-SOM tomorrow for their open house and this being my first visit, was wondering what I should wear.

I didn't want to wear khakis if everyone was wearing shirts/ties etc. I know this seems OCD but I really don't feel like looking like a "dunce"😀

thanks

P.S. - Anyone else visiting tomorrow?

I would wear a shirt/tie/slacks. It's always better to be over dressed than under dressed. And plus you'll look professional when meeting admissions staff and/or faculty (whom I'm sure will be present).

Shirt and tie, no question. Being underdressed is not the way you want to stand out.

This is actually a great question! I am attending TCOM's open house next weekend and I am going to wear a tie. No suit though, I will save that for the interview! (If I get one)

It's just an open house. I don't know why people are telling you to wear a tie. I think a button-down with a nice pair of slacks is fine. Of course, wear a pair of shoes that are polished and in good condition. A lot of people fall short there.
