Drexel University's IHS program maybe the worst program known to man -_-. You may go into the program with a "somewhat" solid academic record, but you may complete the program with a "mediocre" academic record.

Its not due to the ambition or the will of the student but the administration and professors. The program is very unorganized and you hardly get a chance to talk to a professor or even the advisor ( Nancy Minugh-Purvis). There are many students who are currently dealing with administration issues with the IHS staff and this issue is negatively impacting the students morale and grades. If anyone plans on going to a post bac I advise you not to go to IHS... Plus its not a program that helps you get in or help you increase your chances to a medical school. The director/adviser ( Nancy Minugh-Purvis) may market the IHS program like it will, but in reality it will not. Very few people who enter the IHS program go into medical or dental school.

Just be aware

Are there any benefits in going through this program? I'm in the midst of choosing between two right now, Drexel's IHS and Dominican University.
