Drexel IMS, success?

Who has had success coming out of the IMS program? We all know a lot about the program but I'd like to know more about the people to go through it! What were your stats? how did you do in the program? Most importantly, did you get into medical school??

Maybe not what you're looking for but, I'm in the program and I'm told good things by the people that have finished the program. Most of the people that don't come back for a 2nd year (the MMS part) don't because they get into med school.

I came in really just needing to prove I could hang and that my school prepared me well enough and this I'd say is proving it. I went to UC Irvine and I felt that I was prepared really well even though I hated most of my UCI teachers.

Some people go to class all the time (my roomate), I go maybe 2 times a week if I feel like and instead get up and go to the library early in the morning and just watch the lectures there at high speed.

I sort of feel that I didn't answer your questions but I hope I helped at least a miniscule amount.

At least 10 ppl in my class came form drexel IMS.

I finished that program. Many of my classmates got into drexel. U get automatic interview from drexel as long as u keep all Bs.

The program will get u into a med school somewhere(MD/DO), but no one knows how well most people do. You are taking medical school classes and that's not a joke, and if you are looking to improve your GPA it might be prudent to goto an undergraduate postbacc( harvard, columbia, any other local colleges should have them).

Oh, it was the worst time of my life! But i guess it paid off in the end if you get into med school.

Ps. going through that program lets u know if you really want to do medicine or something else( i have friends in P.A/ Dental/ etc.) SO, if you think u are motivated and self disciplined do it. And if you are having second thoughts stay away.
