Hello all,

Is there anyone else that got into the MSP program this year? I have yet to see a thread so here it is!

I've been accepted but I don't think that I will attend. Today is the last day for me to put down a $500 deposit which is a bit steep and the program itself just seems extremely costly.

the last day for me is friday...i'm still on the fence with the program. It does incorporate the MCAT prep and a few undergraduate classes to boost the science GPA...these past couple of weeks I've been tossing and turning trying to figure out what to do...but i think it just might be worth it

I just got a call that I was accepted into the MSP-MBS program today. The cost of the program is the scary thing, but its funny because a couple weeks ago, I told myself that if an opportunity like this presented itself I would jump on it. Now I have cold feet.

My gut is telling me to go for it though.

@cornernat ohhh trust me it hasn't been an easy decision. But it's the most advantageous decision. For me at least. I hope you figure out what you wanna do!

what made you finally decide on drexel?

@gillyp for me its about strengthening my application stats wise. I value the structure of a formal program above all else and i just had to honest with myself with what it takes for me to succeed.

I started looking for housing but a lot is dependent on what I get with financial aid. Have you found a place to live?

i am going to drop my deposit off tomorrow and ask about when things start.
i did find a place to live already. i called drexel and they said that the graduate housing is on a waiting list already.

When did you apply? My application was complete July 9th. I'm still waiting to hear back.

it took about a month or so to hear back. i submitted mine fully probably the beginning of june, end of may and i heard back like 3 weeks ago.

I'm looking for housing too! I'm a female, 24. I didn't find out until July 1st bc I applied to DPMS and didn't get in they decided without telling me that they forwarded my application for this program. So I will be there! Can't wait to meet everyone.

Hey Everyone,

My name is Jonny I was an MSP student last year and will be moving away from Philly in August. I have textbooks for Pharmacology (Katzung 12th edition), Medical Physiology (Guyton and Hall 12th edition), Essential Clinical Anatomy (Moore 5th edition), and Gray's Atlas of Anatomy (2nd edition) if anyone is interested in purchasing them. I bought all the books new for $600 off of amazon less than a year ago and am selling for $300 (The book store will sell you the physiology book for around $180).

All the books are in excellent condition and I'm including recordings and study guides from anatomy last semester along with general advice for the program. If you're interested email me at [email protected], I'll sell to the first person who wishes to buy. Good luck next year!

hey im about to enter the program this upcoming fall, just thought of asking any current msp students for their experiences in the program and how well they felt going into the mcat during the end of spring.
