Ok so...I just found out that I was accepted. How exactly can I found out if there is any Housing available in Stiles?....I am thoroughly confused and trying not to freak out...
According to the email I am supposed to submit a bunch of paperwork and deposit and such to them by this Thursday!

Yea do that asap send in the application to stiles too as soon as u get ur id # call stiles back so they can process ur app u can ask to speak to michele she will tell u what's still available

Is there any former MSP students that can tell of us of their overall experience in this program?

How much did your mcat score improve?
What material did you guys use for the mcat?
How were the professors?
Would you recommend this program?

I am just asking for some general feedback about this program...All feedback is appreciated...

There were many mixed feelings from past MSPers if you check the past posts from 2007 and 2008...I guess you have to weigh in everybody opinion and see if it will fit you....I choose to do it bc just one of the guys said...its better to do some program than no program...I mean that is in my opinion but also at the same time you just have to way your odds...

Yeah I was in the same position, because I have been studying for the MCAt the whole summer and found that I made it into the program....I was more happy making into a program than not making....So I was like I might just take the mcat and see what happens and if I do not do well then I have msp to back up if I do well I can focus alot of the post bacc classes and hopefully bust str8 A's...But I also did have a low 3 GPA...But I had great Recs...EC...and everything else to supplement my application but was compromised with low GPA and especially my MCAT...But thats how I made my decision...but I guess you just have to weigh your odds on everything...

Oh yeah on housing..jusawannadoc...yeah those 1 bedrooms went too fASt...lol....I guess they the popular ones on the market...But I think Im going to try to room with someone close to campus....

Hopefully, I'll see you all there in August!!! and Congrats to everyone!!!

yea i got my app in SUPER early so i was actually #2 in line so i got a single but hey on the bright side... ur saving way more money than i am

lol...Yeah I hope so...Have you heard anything about orientation yet? I know its Aug 12-14...But they have yet to put an outline of the schedule...When are you planning on arriving to Philly...

Based on posts from previous yrs I think we should see the info by next Friday. My day to move in is aug 8. It's cool cuz they give us plenty of time to meet ppl good luck with housing!!!

Hi everyone .. I got accepted to the MSP program .. Now i NEED to find a place to live!.. Does anyone need a roommate?? Im ez to live with, neat, clean... i dont mind commuting. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Mcat teachers will be new.... They won't b students so that should b better there is also a new teacher 4 both chem classes

jusawannabdoc...How did you hear about the chem teachers changing? Also, who is going to be teaching the mcat course if its not former students?

I can't say but it is true I didn't ask details on the new chem prof.... MCAT -These are ppl with teaching experience but they aren't students I do not know the details of their background however. I'm just glad they won't be distracted by classes but of course that doesn't make them amazing teachers automatically. We will find out soon enough! Congrats on your acceptance!

Ohhhh that's horrible good luck with housing guys I was up there last week to see the apt they're nice but small... still packing I hope everything I bought will fit :/

yeah...they had the schedule up for one day and then took it down....but it looks like a full schedule days though....

Yeah, I just locked in a studio for the year....somewhere relatively close to campus though....decent price....

Whats up with this health insurance???? I was trying waive it bc I already have health insurance...but they want me meet certain school criteria to actually waive it...SUCKS!!!

But less than 3 weeks left...See u all in Philly!!!

Hello all,
I was accepted into the MSP program back in May and I am finalizing all fin aid and housing paperwork before my journey to Philly. Only problem is I will be traveling cross-country (by way of Texas) to get there, and do not know if I should get a U-Haul hitch or buy my furniture in the Center City area. Is anyone else traveling cross-country and bringing their furniture, or is everyone going to buy furniture in the Philly area?
