Hello all,
I have a dilemma and I am seeking advice. I was accepted into PCOM-GA cert. program and Drexel MSP program. I have also applied to UNT post bac program. My cGPA is 3.19 and sGPA is about 3.0. I received a 20O on my first MCAT and I am scheduled to retake it. All other parts of my application and LOR's are really good. I have talked to adviser's and they say the main concern should be with my MCAT. I really wanted PCOM-GA and all the forums seem to speak highly of it. But now that I am into Drexel too, I want to see which is better. My question to all of you is this... which program is better to help increase my MCAT and GPA to get into a medical school afterwards??

Are you a TX resident? Cost-wise, TCOM would be your best bet in-state. Drexel otherwise.

The PCOM-Ga Cert program would statistically give you great chances of gaining admission to that school and probably PCOM-PA to some extent. Drexel MSP provides you classes that should boost your MCAT while giving an MCAT prep course, which is great. UNT's curriculum appears much more rigorous than Drexel, yet it also provides MCAT help. Honestly, I think you best chances is to go to either Drexel or UNT, due to the MCAT prep and reputation.

I would go with any masters program. The MSP really isn't going to get you anywhere.
