Drexel MSP

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
well you are just in luck..cause i have the Drexel packet in my hand and it clearly states that (verbatim..lol)

MSP requirements:

Official MCAT scores are required for students who have taken the exam. For students who have not taken the MCAT, official GRE scores are required instead. MCAT scores in the low to mid 20s, as well as a 1200 GRE General Test Score, are considered appropriate for the program.

Now you have to decide on how you are going to approach the situation. They assume some people have taken the MCATs already but was really low so thats why they accept those caliber in the program. I am sure you are well aware that MSP not only improves your science background but also MCAT scores.

When do you plan to apply to the program??

I will take MCAT this April, and hope to attend drexel in fall 09? when should I apply? I'm kinda lost on that issue too, so if you can help out...it'd help 🙂

again verbatim: Our admission cycle follows that of the College of Medicine; therefore, our application period begins in the spring and continues throughout the summer. Application for the fall class are emailed in March, and acceptances are granted on a rolling admission basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible because the class is usually filled prior to the application deadline. (which totally contradicts the whole rolling admissions idea if you ask me)

You are taking the MCATs pretty late...so that might hold off your scores until May. I say look up the old threads on the SD forum..and see when those people were applying...and if they applied without their MCATs scores being sent...i like the program too..i am going to apply to this one and the DPMS program
