Any word on the Drexel Secondary....whats the deal? still waiting to receive anything from them. Do they screen the application?!😡

No, they don't screen. And I just received mine today too, and I was verified on 6/6. I think they're just sending them out in somewhat random batches.

Email. And you submit it online. You can even pay online and upload a photo online if you prefer online to snail. Love that.

I just got it yesterday or the day before. I think they're just rolling it out slowly so they don't overload the system (although you'll still get an error message from their page from time to time)

Yeah, no essay and about moderate in length.
I'm not sure why there is a need to re-enter all the employment, EC, volunteer work when that info is found on the AMCAS. Having to redo the same work is a bit frustrating. But, at least there is no essay.

Nice to know. I figured that I'd been screened out, since the only schools I haven't heard from are UNC and Drexel, and I'm 99% sure I've been screened out for UNC.

one more thing about drexel's secondary. be careful when uploading your picture...you apparently only get one shot at it, because i couldn't find a link to 'change current picture' or even view the picture that was uploaded.

yeah, drexel is pretty notorious for appearing (and perhaps actually being) unorganized, understaffed in the admissions office, impolite, and slowwww.

that said, i still applied of course.

I think I was double charged by drexel for my secondary. I only got one confirmation email and so I am pretty sure it wasn't my fault but they are showing up twice on my bill. I dont want to make their admissions people mad at me, so do you think it is better to call them or the credit card company to straighten it out?

I was double-charged by Rochester- I waited a couple of days and either Rochester's computers or a real person saw the problem and refunded me the money (on my credit card). I didn't have to call or anything....

Does anyone know how you determine when you're complete? Their status page only shows receipt of your supplemental app, photo and app fee. No mention of receipt of LORs (mine were sent via VE). Do they send an email when you're complete and they've successfully downloaded your LORs? Or does it show up somewhere on your status page?

just got my Drexel app this week and sent it out as soon as possible. My LORs are already at their office, all that is left to submit are my new MCAT scores.

Well on the right they have a phone number to call for status updates, but I'd assume that they'd shoot you an email to let you know they've got all your stuff.
