I am very new to this forum, so forgive me if I make any mistakes.

I've been trying to apply to Dental schools for 2 years, but I have failed to get admitted both years. So I decided that I needed to make myself more competitive for applying to schools.
I searched certificate programs that might help me with the situation that I'm in.
I got a recommendation for Drexel's IMS program and ended up getting accepted few months back.
I also applied to VCU's premedical program and I received an acceptance letter last week.
So I've been trying to search online about the two programs, but as a pre-dent student, I couldn't really relate to some of the posts since they were aimed for pre-med students.

I'm hearing great stuff about Drexel's program, but I haven't found much on VCU's program. I was set on going to Drexel, but VCU's guaranteed interview with their dental school when maintaining a 3.5 gpa seemed very appealing.

Do any of you have any suggestions or input on both schools?

VCU's program seems appealing because even if I were to do well in both programs, VCU offers something that Drexel doesn't. With VCU I would be able to start dental school right after the year long program, but with Drexel I would have to wait a whole year after the program to hear back from other schools. The downside on VCU is that I have no idea what the program's like.

Thank you for your time!

A major difference is that IMS offers courses with medical students, and you attend those on-line via simulcast (you will not be in a classroom with medical students).
VCU offers classes that mimic the 1st year medical curriculum, without medical students. You actually have the option to attend lecture.

Otherwise, I would strongly suggest you start talking directly to the program admins at each school and explaining what your educational goals are, and asking what exactly each program has to do with you accomplishing the goals. Without knowing your exact background I would'nt be comfortable advising you about either program.
