So, according to recent studies Cabernet and Chardonnay are the best wines to drink and reduce bone loss, heart disease, BUT drinking one cup at least day can increase risks for breast cancer. Isn't that crazy???? I guess I better start drinking a glass of wine EVERY OTHER day now : /

Want the so-called benefits of drinking wine without the negative effects of alcohol? Drink grape juice.

Seriously people. Troll or not, every time that someone brings up these studies, it takes all of my willpower not to slam my head into a wall.

The benefits of wine extend beyond the antioxidants.

Not trying to get into an argument, but the not-so -great effects of alcohol--from brain function to the liver--probably make grape juice an even more appealing option...and now wine can lead to breast cancer too? Bad stuff.

(I'm half joking, by the way. I'm just not a huge fan of people jumping to conclusions and jumping on lab study bandwagons to make themselves feel better about their lifestyles...or people who make 5 useless posts in a row on SDN...but eh, what can ya do?)
