For a little bit of history about myself, I am a pharmacy student applying to my state medical school (Indiana University). I am P2, and I would say that pharmacy school is significantly harder than most undergraduate programs that I've heard about or seen. I just sent in a new, updated transcript from the university I'm currently attending because IU wants us to update each semester. Now, prior to last semester I had a 3.93C 3.97S GPA. I got my MCAT back in September, and I had 4 tests between then and 2 days later. Needless to say, I bombed them because I couldn't concentrate (I did well on the MCAT). So, this past semester I earned a 3.55 with 14 credits, which is much lower than all of my other semesters.
Now, I want to know if I should send IU an e-mail regarding the big difference in semester performances or should I just let it slide by? I was pretty much playing catch-up for the entire semester because of those tests I couldn't concentrate to study for.
