I was going to take a class this semester as a required class for a particular school I was interested in. I'm interested in still taking it, but probably next semester if I can find it at a local university. The current course is distance and I'm not really sure that's how I'd prefer to take a class (I've never taken anything online, so I'm a bit hesitant). The problem is that the nearest school that would offer it is almost 30 miles away (at least two days a week), so taking this particular class is a stretch financially from both a tuition and fuel stand point. This is why I was originally going to take it via the web.

How do you remove a course on your course work of AACOMAS after submission? Do I need to contact each school individually after I am complete and say, "Hey, FYI I'm not actually taking this course." How will this look? Would an application hinge on the fact that I was taking and have now decided not to/delay taking the course?

I haven't made a decision on this particular course yet.

I did the same thing - I had an astronomy class that was "planned" but I dropped it before the semester started. I wouldn't worry about it. Even people who have pre-reqs missing (and not listed as "planned") still get interviews/acceptances. As long as the requirements are met by the time you matriculate, the schools are happy.

Yup don't worry about it. I changed one of my planned classes and it hasn't been a problem.
