Do admission committees consider the course load when they look at your GPA for a semester? Currently I am taking the following classes which I have included with grade predictions as of midterms.

Organic Chemistry II: B
Organic Chemistry Lab: B-C
Rituals and Reformation (Honors): A-
Molecular Biology: A
Introduction to Islam: A
History and Philosophy of Science (Plato to NATO): A-

As you can see my chemistry is really hitting me hard but I have six classes (17 hours) and the humanities classes are very time consuming. I am predicting a drop in my GPA of .1-.15. Usually people like to see an upward trend but will they understand this drop with such a load?

Think of it this way: there will be many people with similar or even heavier course loads that get all As.

That is true...but also those who have much easier loads and do poorly. I guess in light of this my question really doesn't even matter.
