What is a person using in the classic story of an athelete who breaks his arm in a game but keeps playing because he doesn't feel it?

PCP? Amphetamine?

i would say PCP since it will "numb you" but i don't want to see some one high on PCP playing Bball/football/etc....geez they would be a poor sport.

PCP makes sense... but would he really be playing agame while using? Perhaps just the natural endorphins could have this effect.

Usually you see someone injecting something directly into the knee or in the arm that is injured in these movies. My guess would be A) a local anesthetic/nerve block so they don't feel the pain but can still use the appendage B)steroid shot to reduce inflammation so that the joint is still mobile but may hurt like hell use still C) demerol for the pain...really not sure. 😕

I'm thinking it's PCP. I had that question on my BS shelf a couple of years back and the choices listed were all illegal drugs. I guess if it comes up I'll choose PCP. Thanks! 😀
