I've been moving along in my first pass of FA pretty well as far as understanding concepts and I have about 6 weeks left. I'm watching the Pathoma videos and taking notes in FA (Btw, if anyone is on the fence about pathoma, I can't recommend it highly enough). But all the non-conceptual stuff is making me anxious. How and when are you guys approaching this? I'm not someone who can memorize by just reading through micro or drug lists, so it will take a substantial amount of time. Thanks, and hang in there everybody!

So I did one pass of FA already, and I spent a week going thru the micro chapter and going thru lippincott's micro cards... I memorized all of the virus tree diagrams that are on the microcards (if u have them you'll know what I'm talking about, basically just a tree diagram breaking viruses into capsule type, genome type, etc). I found this to be beneficial, as once you commit this to memory you are virtually guaranteed those points so long as you can ascertain what bug they're talking about from the vignette (I'd also recommend getting the microcards... I'm a fan). That was several weeks ago. Already the majority of that info is completely gone from my brain lol. SO, my strategy is going to be to cram that pure memorization stuff in in the week or so prior to my exam. In the mean time, as I go thru FA again, I will focus on the "being able to identify what bug they're talking about in the vignette" aspect... sometimes this alone is adequate... other times they'll ask u what type of genome said virus has.

Pharm is a similar beast, a lot of it is memory and so I will likely do a ton of pharm and micro in the week or 2 before the exam, BUT at least pharm you get some more exposure to in studying individual pathologies, etc.

Guys I 've read CMMRS once and have gone through the tables at the end of each chapter twice.
I've learned about Sanjiv Microcards later (by my friend Phloston). Will it suffice if i just study the tree diagrams? Or should i go through all Microcards?
