Ibuprofen 800mg/Zantac 150mg/ 1 liter H20 prophylactically before a drinking binge, then repeat the meds before you fall (literally) in bed goes a long way, Thinkmeister.

"I'm not as think as you drunk I am, officer.....why am I driving?? Uhhh, I cant walk, so how else do you think I'd get home??"

any risk to the kidneys? I guess the h20 and the etoh diuresis may protect them. This is a great idea, 👍 I get a headache everytime I drink regardless of the amount, and man let me tell you it sux having a daily headache.

yeah yeah I know "Whaaa Whaa Whaa my puzzy hurts...." :luck:

Sadly, this is one of your more coherent posts.

(sorry, i couldnt resist...live it up, man)

I usually pride myself on my composure, but the night of the match definitely got more out of control than planned! I'm one of those people that believes that professionalism goes beyond the OR and hospital, but unfortunately (and with a lot of embarrassment) I have to admit that I'm lucky not to have woken up in a freakin' jail cell on Friday morning.

Doesn't taking Zantac 150mg PO X once PRN for drinking make you

Doesn't taking Zantac make you get pissed drunk faster? I heard it competitively inhibits alcohol dehydrogenase. I guess it also decreases the level of acetylaldehyde, decreasing hangover.

Ibuprofen is defintely not advised before drinking. It decreases the presence of prostaglandin in stomach lining and thus any protection from ethanol, a well known cellular toxin and can result in NSAId induced gastritis.

Try
omeprazole/1 lites h20 prophylactically predrinking. 1 liter of h20 throughout the evening, then a pepcid 20 mg and tylenol 650mg (no recommended for chronic drinkers) before you fall.

Tylenol?

i thought even if one isnt a chronic drinker it should not be taken when one has heavy amuonts of ETOH onboard. Doesnt it cause tyl toxicity and wont your liver get shot?

Yeah, OK dude.

Yet another individual eaten up by academically useless info.

Ibuprofen is the NSAID bomb.

Minimal risk.

Tylenol is overrated.
