I usually pride myself on my composure, but the night of the match definitely got more out of control than planned! Doesn't taking Zantac make you get pissed drunk faster? I heard it competitively inhibits alcohol dehydrogenase. I guess it also decreases the level of acetylaldehyde, decreasing hangover.

Ibuprofen is defintely not advised before drinking. It decreases the presence of prostaglandin in stomach lining and thus any protection from ethanol, a well known cellular toxin and can result in NSAId induced gastritis.

Try
omeprazole/1 lites h20 prophylactically predrinking. 1 liter of h20 throughout the evening, then a pepcid 20 mg and tylenol 650mg (no recommended for chronic drinkers) before you fall.

i thought even if one isnt a chronic drinker it should not be taken when one has heavy amuonts of ETOH onboard. Doesnt it cause tyl toxicity and wont your liver get shot?
