so I learned ADEA not only process pre-dental students,
but also, pre-optometry student..

Is there any pre-dent student out there who turned in application to some opto schools, while they were applying for dental schools, for safety/other reasons??

did dental/opto schools find out you applied to both fields simultaneously??
If they did, how much of a problem was it during your interview??

this would be a crazy process to go through...

Do not apply to two vastly different professional fields at the same time. You are insulting both fields and doing yourself a disservice at the same time.

It is completely natural to be unsure about what you want to do. However, if you can't decide between both by application time, I would wager you are not ready for either and need to seriously reconsider your options and what you want out of a career.

Take these next few months and talk to people, shadow both fields, get some advice, do some obligatory "soul-searching." I'm sure there are exceptions, but the majority of people that apply to two different professional schools at the same time get rejected by both.

Schools will know you applied to both unless you outright lie on your application.

Good luck with your decision.
