Hi guys!

At the request of my school, they suggested I dual apply this cycle. I applied and interviewed both OBGYN and EM. I only interviewed at 2 EM programs and I know I would not be happy in the field, so I am not planning to rank these two programs. However, the 2 EM programs I interviewed with are at my top one and two programs for OBGYN. I feel pretty good about the number and quality of my OBGYN interviews.

Should I withdraw from the EM programs at this stage? Or just leave them off my rank list? Or am I just being a neurotic fourth year 23 days until match? Thanks!

Leave them at the bottom of your list, unless you would rather go unmatched than attend one of them.

Withdrawing from them won't change what the OB programs will do / how they will rank you.

Whether matching into a field you don't like is better than not matching at all is a debatable issue.
