Duke interview or rejection between Dec. 20th and 23rd...

Since they say on the status page that they will finish screening for the interviews by Dec. 20th~23rd, do you guys think they will update our status either with reject or interview by then?

I just want to know so I can move on. I have five schools that are still considering me for an interview, one of them being Duke. I can't stand it when they tell me, "Oh, your file has been in review since four months ago but the committee still hasn't reached a decision on your file yet." 😡

They should either email you with an interview or change your status (barring anything crazy happens) by then. I just received my rejection on Friday and my friend received her interview on Sat. The people in admissions said that things are looking good and that they are thinking they should have everyone's status updated by then.

Oh, I'm not heartbroken over it. I never intended on applying to Duke in the first place and really wouldnt' have applied had my bosses not pressured me into it since I work at Duke right now. My stats are no where near what they need to be for this school. 😉 Too many really smart people around here.

And your status page will display whether or not you are invited for an interview. They don't send out the rejection letters until March. I just know that I was rejected because my status page said that they could not invite me for an interview. They will, however, send you an email if you're invited for an interview.

Is anyone's file still being reviewed by Duke? I know they said 2-3 weeks after they receive your secondary, but it's been over 5 weeks now. I don't think I have a shot anyway, but it would be nice to know. I submitted my secondary on December 1st. I know, I know... 😉 The essays really took me so time to finish.
