Has anyone received any scholarship or financial aid offers from Duke yet?

I thought they said scholarships would go out around the middle of March. Has anyone found out they got a scholarship?

In terms of financial aid I finished my FAFSA a while ago, but I still need to complete my need access application. How long after I do my need access form will I hear from them about financial aid?

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat as you...and just as unsure. I'm calling Duke tomorrow about it so unless some else posts some insight I'll let ya know then. By the way congrats! Are you going to second look? If so see ya there!

I was notified 3/19 that I was to receive the Dean's Merit Scholarship (four years, full-tuition). I'm not URM and I'm also OOS FYI. I credit my brutally honest secondary answers and my faculty interview.

Ya same, thought about calling but figured 2nd look is a week away. Hope to see you guys there!

I just called and they said all of the awards were sent last week. Bummer, I'm really excited about Duke... but it's my most expensive option.

More expensive than Harvard/Stanford/ etc...considering the cost of living?

Quick question:

Were the awards sent snail mail or by electronically?

I'm not sure - I think someone in one of these threads said mail.

Yeah - more expensive than Harvard/Stanford/etc... even considering the cost of living. Stanford, and now Harvard too (see link below), give extremely good need-based aid. UCSF is in state, so that'll be cheaper too. I admit my earlier statement was a bit of an exaggeration- some schools will be much more expensive than Duke (those in NYC).

I missed the financial aid presentation during Second Look. I just mailed my tax returns today. Has anyone heard from Duke in regards to their need-based financial aid package?
