"We have designed a self-managed application process. It is your responsibility to monitor your Personal Account System (PAS) which will provide you with updates to your application. We do not send post cards or emails update your application status. The status of your application can be found on the right hand side of your Personal Account System home page. While the posted deadline for the Supplemental Application is December 20, 2007, we strongly recommended that you submit your Supplemental Application at least four (4) weeks prior to the December 20, 2007 deadline. Time must be allowed for screening of your application by the Admission Committee. We receive a large volume of applications and applying well before the deadline moves your application through the screening process in a timely manner and will give you more latitude to schedule an interview should your application receive a invitation to interview vote from the screening committee. ! If you are NOT offered an interview at DukeMed, you will receive an email confirming the committee's decision AND your status page will reflect that you have not been selected for an interview."
