by the way this test was more brutal than step 1 because of all the reading and those interminably long passages and their lab values.

I just finished it too, mine was MUCH harder than world (60s-70s). God, I just hope I passed

I think it was all just a lot different than world - From the looks of it 60s-70s is a pretty strong score on world.

Was Step 2 much more like Kaplan Qbank? Or was it completely different than USMLE world and Kaplan Qbank? If so, how would you recommend studying for it?

I used QBank for Step I and USMLEWorld for CK. Neither was particularly good preparation as far as what the actual test was like. Use them like nitpicky-detail flashcards, but don't expect them to prepare you for the style of test questions you'll see.

i agree. U World was better for Step 1. I felt more "on my own" having to wing it for CK. Whatever, we'll see....

Yeah, that wait sucks. The silver lining is that by the time scores come up, you'll be so numb from the wait that you won't even care. ... or at least that's how I was after my 4 week wait

Congrats on being done Corpu. I got my scores back in 5 weeks. The NBOME is slow. The testing system at Thompson Prometric looks like it was made in the 80s 🙂 I thought World was NOTHING like my test. The COMBANK was definately much closer to the real thing. It only had about 500 questions when I used it but I heard they are up over 600 now and keep growing it. Let us know when you get that passing score.

There's a note on the USMLE website I found a few weeks ago that says no scores on July 2 because of the holiday. It's another whole week for us I'm afraid. :-(
