dumb question re sending transcripts to AACOMAS

Perhaps the answer to this should be obvious but I can't figure it out from reading the AACOMAS application instructions - can I have my colleges send transcripts to AACOMAS before I submit the application (the way I can with AMCAS), or do I need to wait until I hit submit to request transcripts be sent in?

Have them sent in ASAP. Download and print off the "Transcript Matching Form" and give that your college to Bundle with your transcript

Thank you; I figured that's what the transcript request/matching form was for but wanted to make sure! I have a lot because I'm really old and have tried all sorts of classes all over the place, so requesting them all is a big job.

Lol. No worries. Same here. That is why I got them printed out and faxed today, since they will take up to 10 days for AACOMAS to receive them

my school year ends in the middle of June so I cannot request the transcript to be sent to AACOMAS until that time. Do you think that will weaken my chances of acceptance?

Naw, not at all. Everyone applying right now won't even have their applications sent to the schools they selected until June 15th.

So June/July is still good for you.
