It might be a dumb question, but oh well......

Once you earn your Pharm.D., are you addressed as Dr. so-and-so since it is a doctorate?.......Just curious because i have never really encountered the issue......probably because most of the older pharmacists have the B.S.

When have I heard it used?

- In the hospital on overhead paging
- On the phone when someone is trying to push their weight around
- Introductions at a wedding...PharmD in the wedding party

Is it used in real life? Not from what I've seen. Does it really matter? Nope.

Oh yeah...sometimes I use it when one of my friends tells a stupid joke or something..."Nice one, doctor ." That always ruffles some feathers.
