Hi guys....maybe one of you guys can help me out.

I am in the process of fillng out my pass app, but some people are telling me different things about what e forms are. I was under the impression that e forms are electronic rec letters that your evaluators fill out, which then gets sent out to schools of your choice by pass. SOme people at my school are telling me that e forms are nothing more than a short eval forms, and that full page paper rec letters must be sent out in envelops by you to all the schools you are applying to. So anyone know what e forms are all about?

hey there..dont worry! the e-forms are same as reco letters, however in an elelctronic form to be typed in by the person you choose; but they are in a standardized format prepared by PASS, having scores for each quality like, clinical skills, ability, performance, communication skills etc etc,
IN ADDITION, the e-form also has a couple of lines for the evaluator to type in his additional comments.
However, if you are not satisfied with this, and want a paragraphed letter written about you, then you request that that those letters be sent directly to the school, instead of PASS, AND make sure you check the box in the PASS application stating the same. Upon doing this, PASS automatically waives you from using their letter, and states that you have wished that a letter will be directly mailed to the respective schools.
Advantages: A paragrpahed letter will talk about you in detail, which may carry some really good points abut you.
Disadvantages:You need to mail out these letters separetly to each and every school.
Good luck!
