I e submittted on 8/17. Is this not the date that my application was sent? Im not really sure on the whole "batch" batch thing.

Do I still have a shot an an interview? it seems like they are filling up super fast!

I believe batch number is referring to when your app is actually mailed out, not just when you e-submitted.
