does interviewing a month later make a difference? for schools with rolling admin, the earlier the better. but i'm trying to weigh out interviewing earlier vs. being better prepared (still want to read up on ethics & practice interview ques). any advice would be much appreciated. thanks!

interview early. you wont be much more prepared, if it all, when it comes down to it.

I agree that earlier is better. Interviewers are most interested in your personality, your communications skills, and how you think on your feet, and less interested in rehearsed answers to cheesy, canned questions. In fact, sounding over-rehearsed could even hurt.

I would think that being interviewed early is better. At EVMS, they told me that our group was the first interview group for the 2005 Cycle. I think that when you are that early, your chances of an acceptance or waitlist are even greater, because the rolling admit schools will want to fill their seats as soon as possible. Therefore, I think that their primary concern would be to make sure you aren't a lunatic. Later interviews would mean they scrutinize you more.

thanks guys for all your help! i'll definitely try to interview earlier rather than later!
