Hi everyone,

I am a student taking his pre-reqs now. I have first semester general bio and chem taken and will be taking the second half of each in the spring time. Over the summer I plan on taking orgo 1 and 2 and possibly physics 1 and 2 as well. I want to apply to caribbean schools as soon as possible, since I will probably end up there anyway. If I took the MCAT in the spring of 2009 when is the earliest I could matriculate into caribbean schools? Summer 09? I hear that schools respond to your application very quickly.

Apply when you are on the last semester you are taking your pre-reqs. That is your only choice because they will not take you until they are all done.

Right...If I took an MCAT after I applied could those scores be sent directly to the schools? or is your MCAT info generally included in the application itself?

You have to set it up so they send the MCAT to your school when the scores come in.

They will not usually interview you until the application is complete.
