What is the earliest date that interviews are offered? And are most people finished in December or January?

my first interview was mid november, most ended up being in january>december. IIRC very few places had interviews in feb

My first was also a week or so before Thanksgiving and my last on January 29 or so. As I recall there were a couple of programs with a final interview date during the first 3 or 4 days of February, but that's pretty uncommon. 80% of all my interviews were in January (I was on the road 26 of the last 28 days of the month!). 😴

My earliest interview date was in early Nov...which was offered late October.

The earliest I've heard most people have had interviews is in early November, but there may be some programs that interview in late October. I know that Vanderbilt, for example, offers really early interviews, but not sure when as I didn't get one from them.
