Earliest residency interview dates?

Hello,

I am planning an elective in Peru that will last from the middle of October until the middle of November. I have heard that this shouldn't be a problem as long as I have internet access as interviews are granted starting in October. However, I was hoping to get input on the earliest interview day last year. Thanks in advance for your input!!

I have heard of some non surgical programs interviewing in September; the earliest I saw for Surgery was mid October.

Are you applying to G Surg?

Usually the interview season runs from around mid-November to mid-February; as WS notes above, some programs may start as early as October.
